The Junk Boss was founded on a simple frustration: junk removal should not be complicated, overpriced, or impersonal. Too many people were quoted one price over the phone and charged another at the curb, or left waiting all day for a truck that never showed. We set out to do it the opposite way, honest, on time, and genuinely local.

We are a locally owned and owner-operated company based in Manassas, Virginia. When you call, you reach the owner directly, not a national call center reading from a script. That means the person quoting your job is the person accountable for it. We think that accountability is exactly why our customers keep coming back and telling their neighbors.

How we work

Our promise is built into three plain-spoken ideas: You call. We haul. You relax. You give us a quick description or a photo, we give you an upfront, all-inclusive price, and our crew shows up in the window we promised. From there, we do 100% of the lifting, up from basements, down from attics, out of third-floor apartments, and we sweep up before we leave. All you do is point.

We charge by volume, how much space your junk takes up in our truck, starting at just $100 for a single item. No hidden dump fees, no fuel surcharges, no hourly clock ticking while we work. The number we quote is the number you pay. We also proudly offer 10% discounts for active-duty military, veterans, and seniors 55 and older.

We believe hauling junk should not mean filling a landfill. Usable furniture, appliances and household goods are donated to Habitat for Humanity and other local charities, and we sort out metal and recyclables on every job.
